Capacity Development

In the new report, Using Knowledge Exchange for Capacity Development: What Works in Gl..., the Korea Development Institute and WBI assess three South-South knowledge exchange programs using WBI’s results-focused methodology.

The results highlight lessons for the design and management of knowledge exchange programs, including ways to:

  • Respond to the demands of the partner country to better target the knowledge exchange
  • Ensure local ownership and commitment to the reform process
  • Strategically select participants on the demand and supply sides of the knowledge exchange
  • Promote and sustain cross-country and within-country interactions

The study’s findings will provide input to the proceedings at the 4th High Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness in Korea.
