Sharing 'Best Practises'

It would be useful if, before we meet again in December, we could identify some best practises in the problem areas that have been identified during this June meeting (needs assessments, ways to measure whether capacity has been developed, etc) either that we or institutions that we work with apply. At the December meeting, we could then showcase these.

Opportunities for Improving the Results of Learning

This morning we had a great start to the WBI / InWEnt Forum, "Improving the Results of Learning for Capacity Building", which I am moderating here in Washington DC. During the "World Café", participants had table conversations around questions such as: What challenges, if overcome, could make the biggest difference to this subject? Results management - Role of DTIs

An important aspect for achieving results is to bring DTI into development policy space. DTIs have to graduate from training providers to catalysts, change agents, integrators, knowledge hubs. This change is challenging and requires major shift in the role of DTIs. WBI and other allied institutions can play a strategic role in bringing this shift.
