About me

I'm a Chilean converted Muslim woman, living in Buenos Aires. I'm a feminist and a believer. Social activist since I was 15 years old. I have a University degree in Public Relations and previously I studied Journalism. My concern issues and expertise are related to gender, communication and development.

During all my life, equality and women rights have been and intellectual, professional and personal motivation.  I love book, nature, travelling and cats. Since the last 7 years I’ve been living in different countries of South America for work. Knowing how different and similar human beings are has reaffirmed my commitment on the struggle for freedom and dignity and my willingness  to collaborate from all possible areas for the rights of women.

I am a writer for http://www.webislam.com and also a consulter and collaborator for: http://antropologiadegenero.com and http://www.diariounidad.es

Recently, I was the only Latin-American Muslim selected as correspondent along with 29 other women around the world to take part in a six months international training program “Voices of Our Future” in new media, citizen journalism and gender empowerment in network by http://www.worldpulse.com and partner organizations.

Currently I am writing my book about Islam and feminism from an inclusive perspective.
